hi all

please advice me that provisional degree certificate is acceptable or not?
if it is not acceptable than please provide me the source for the same so i can go to my uni and try for solution as they have said u will only get in next convocation which jan-feb 2012

There can't be a clear cut source or yes or no for this kind of information. Better submit it now but mention in a cover letter that you are only having provisional now and will send degree as soon as you get it.

Don't they issue degree before convocation?. If not write this thing in a cover letter that your university will issue degree next year and right now you only have provisional.

i spoke with director of the university and they said that i have to wait till next cpnvocation date which is jan-feb 2012 so they are ready give me in writing that we can't provide u the certificate if you give me any written evidence by the canada immigration department. not i don't want to loose points for my masters otherwise i will straight away disqualify for 67 points

Dear print out the visa office specific instructions and CIC checklist and show your director that they are strictly asking for degree and no provisional. Hopefully he will give you the letter.

To make your case stronger you can even make a declaration on stamp paper attested by notary that you are only having provisional and University will grant degree next year.
