Dear Friends,

I submitted my application (FSW, simplified application) in August 2007 at Seoul office, and sent requested documents in March 2009.

I have recently received my CAIPS notes and I must say I am very surprised that even after some 51 months, from the CAIPS notes my case looks in very initial stage as it says a "0" in front of all PSDEC, BDEC, OREQ, SELDEC, MEDDEC and FINDEC. Furthermore it seems even my initial point assessment has not been done as it only shows 10 points for age in the "Immigrant Assessment Record Summary" section.

However, when I applied then my NOC's were 2123 (2yrs exp., full time) & 4161 (2 yrs exp., full time), IELTS: 6.5, Education: Master's (total school yrs 18), Spouse education: Master's (total school yrs 18). Do you think that I will get more than 67 points?

It shows in all pages (7) of CAIPS notes that the "Paper file sent to: PA   File BF'D to: PPS on 06-10-2010." What does it mean?

Furthermore, I saw "IMM 1017S requested: 08-10-2007" although I didn't receive anything related to IMM 1017S until today (Dec 13, 2011).

Can someone please shed some light on it? Does the information in my CAIPS notes look normal or my application is unexpectedly delayed for some reason? What might be VO's next step regarding my case?

I shall be very grateful. Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi, Unfortunately your application is in the group of Pre 27 Feb 2008 case and it is understood that all such files are still pending. Don't have any idea what would be happened. I think some of the applicants are already re-applied instead of endless waiting.  Your CAIPS don't show any action so far on your file except the BF (Bring forward or brought forward ) date, which is their inter-office note. Nothing  important to you on your CAIPS.

Thanks Wilson and Kanamen. I will think to re-apply without withdrawing my previous application.
