The PR card processing is independednt of the Med Survl issue. U'd 'land' as usual & proceed to complete your SIN, Bank a/c, OHIP etc. as everyone. As u settledown u r required to visit a Service Ontario office & present your Med Survl docs.
They'd then advice u further action... there r certain specialized clinics who deal with that... they'd take your sputum again & post 'culture' u'd retake an Xray - whereafter, they'd certify u FIT. Just that a record of TB cases (latent or active) r maintained by Health Canada.

1. Generally the med survl takes 3-5 months. Depends on the clinic.
2. U can leave Canada in between - no Xchecks there.
3. The PRCs come by 45 days, as usual, it is independent of the med survl.
