private or any public company institutional diploma's will not carry any single point/s.
Same MCSE, CISCO or simmilar brand certifications will not carry single point/s.

if your diploma is from government recognized school or after SSC(secondary schooling) or HSC (higher secondary) or diploma from university pattern will carry the points, but should be from government university/institute or course run by government school.

why don't you go for self-assesment on CIC website (you will get your answer yourself about educational points in first click here on below link):

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assess/index.asp

anyway at present no NOC code for IT (unless if you don't have canadian job authorization by canadian employer).

please first visit self assesment test and read more details on the same website even you can use search option of this forum.

I am from IT as well, MCSE Certification is a certification and not a course, you will not get any points for the same but it may help in getting a job in Canada.

The diploma you did, I dont think will count towards the points but it is good to send the transcript from the university you did the diploma from as it may get you the points.
