Seniors plz help. university admission

I have applied for M.eng course for may 2012 intake in 2 universities.. university of manitoba and victoria
I contacted the universities 2 months after applying( applied in spt) regarding my application status. Both have told me to secure an academic supervisor they told me that even if i have applied for a course that dont required any research still i need an supervisor who will recomend me for admission. For this concern i emailed 2 professors of both the universities. It been 3 weeks nd there is no response. M a little tensed now.. What should i do. need help .

Getting reply from profs is not that easy. Try to mail couple of others. And if your academics is really good, professors will automatically take you since they don't have to provide any financial support to you. Supervisors in course based will only be looking after your progress and assists you in your academics thats all.
