I want to inform you that I got my passport request yesterday (Sunday) from the Damascus Embassy by E-mail!
So now it's a 2 weeks issue max and I have my VISA stamped on my passport!

Hope you get it too very soon!!

My signature has been updated. No change on eCas thought, it's very strange. It never helped thought, since now all I have to do is send my passport to the Embassy for VISA stamping.
I hope that you get the request too this week, please let me know once you do!

Hi Cyrus!

Well, I think it's done before medicals since when I used to send the embassy emails to inquire about my application, they used to tell me each time "once security checks done, medicals will be issued". That's point 1. Now point 2, I got PPR in 2 month after Meds done, and don't forget that medicals has to be sent to France first (in my case cause QSW and with Damascus Embassy) so it will take time, so I don't think they will do ALL the security and background checks in 2 months. So of course it's done before medicals, and might continue during medicals. But expect that after medicals to have the PPR letter or email (I only got an email!). So don't worry about it, you will get it soon. Just make sure you check your emails (also your junk folders!). Hope that helps. Let me know what happens!
