I applied for FSW in july 2007. I got a 120days request letter to submit my full documents in march 09.
I submitted full documents in july 2009. My problem is this, in my letter of experience, i was only working for an agency,
even though i read computer science and also have a masters degree in computer science from u.k, i was working in a call centre as customer support/technical support agent. The letter i got from my agency did not descripe my duties, it only stated that i was working for 40hours and that i started with them since 2006. The person that wrote the letter gave her contact number for CHC to call if there is any doubt. She wrote the letter on their letter-head paper and signed it. The letter was only about 5lines long, no business card, no contract, nothing like that. In the application forms, i did describe my duties well and I used NOC code 2282, user support technician.
Now my question, do i have any chance at all?
The NOC code 2282 is not in the 38 list but because i applied since 2007 before the new rules, will i be accepted?
I am particularly worried about the NOC code 2282!!!
Please help me seniors, am so worried.

Calm down Chandan. The rules then were not so strict as they are for the new applicants.

As long as you can prove that you were employed and have worked as a user support technician you shouldn't have a problem. I think that the 5 Lines will suffice. Most UK employers don't give a detailed reference.

The NOC 2282 is valid for applicants of 2007. Don't get worked up Man.!!

Thanks Bobby.
One more thing that may interest you guys, I have since left that job, due to recession, the company was closed down and workers were laid off. But i continuously worked there from april 2006 till february 2009. The other thing that i need to tell you guys, the letter of experience i got was dated january 2008. Would that be an issue? Finally, when do you think i can expect to hear from CHC london? My 120days expired on july 20, 2009 and they received my document on 15th july 2009.
Counting on the good people on the forum to give me their candid opinion.

My employer letter was not even 5 lines long, this is not about longer detailed letter attached with business card, if the 5 line letter satisfy the officer, you will be approved. If not, they will interview you, not rejecting you right away.
