My sister is going to finish 3 years in job on OCt 9.but her 3 month period for sending pcc and IELTS score is expiring on sept 29.
She is one mark short of 67 points Sad Considering that she applied in apr'09 when she had 2.5 yrs exp and now when her app would be evaluated she would have completed 3 years..would she be given points for her third year of experience..seniors or ppl who have had similar experience please reply!

My advice would be to apply after completion of full year to get points. Whay take chance and get rejected?

The deadline for submitting the douments is before the completion of her 3 year at work (diff of abt 10 days)

I believe there should not be any problem ,also remember that Canadian Immigration takes monthes before each case is assigned  a case worker
so send application
10 days differnce is not serious issue

She should send application and later you can update documents ,infact CHC will ask atleast once for an update

So upto you if you want to send application before 29th Sept !!

Regards

U mean that submitting the appication after the 120 days period is not an issue at all?

Has anyone submitted the application after the 120 days period..say 10-15 days after the 120days deadline ios over? I do not have any idea about it, incase anyone has had similar experience...please reply..

it's advisable to submit before the deadline though.

Submit the application within the 120days limit as they have the end date in the computer.

Your sister will be awarded points according to the years of experience at Lock-in-date which is always the date you submit your application to CIO so if she had 2.5 years of work experience at that time, she will be awarded points for that period only
