Finally, I sent all my documents last friday. Since i sent by regular mail, i did not get any tracking number. Since there a way to find out if my application package reached safely?

no, you will have to wait until CIC contacts you with the Acknowledgement of Receipt (that will likely take a couple of months).  Or, if you have a client ID number on your work permit, you can also check your Application Status here - usually, there is a time lag between activity on your file and updates posted here, tho...

I suppose you are the one who posted in Trackitt too.

The CIO would not send you an acknowledgement for receiving the documents. Once they open up your package and if all the forms are poperly filled out and if all necessary documents are in place, they would send an AOR number(Acknowledgement Of Receipt).

I too have posted my application on 9th Feb 2012 through Canada Expresspost and my application reached them on 13th Feb 2012. Just to make sure that my application reaches them, I have sent it through Expresspost as it can be tracked.

Anyway there should not be a reason for your application not reaching them. Just wait to here from them, or call CIO at a later point of time(may be some time in March) to check with them.

I will start a new thread for all the Feb 2012 applicants. Please update if you receive any message from CIO on your application status.
