I am Buffalo, USA applicant. I sent my full docs in March & my file is in 'In Process' since Sept. Although I am waiting for progress, I need a suggestion on traveling history for my family,

I sent my full docs in March & mean while my family (spouse & kid) visited our home country, India (they are back to USA). I did not update about this to visa office. After reading one of the thread I am confused if I should update VO about that visit or wait & update VO if they ask.

As per rule, what is my responsibility & What should I do?

I would appreciate your valuable suggestion.

Thanks a lot.

Traveling for holidays or vacations, for business or leisure doesn't require any update to CIC as long as it's not permanent for relocation. This is not a change on one's status.

Rest assured, you need to do nothing.

While submitting the passports please send updated travel history form and a covering letter..that should suffice.
