We are leaving soon to Canada. I'm planning to take the funds required in a Bankers Cheque in my name and when I open an account in Canada this amount of money will be transferred to my account in Canada. Do you think that the Bankers Cheque is enough?
I have also a second question: I now work in an International NGO: education sector. Do you think that I will find a job easily in Canada. I hold a Diploma and an MA.
Thank you

Don't know the answer to your 2nd question,

but bankers cheque (bank draft) need time to be cashed in Canada, so be sure to bring some cash as well for immediate use.

You can open an account online before you leave (BMO, HSBC, etc) and then provide ID when you land.  You can, once the account is open, wire your money to the account to have (almost instant) access once you prove your identity at the Canadian bank.  A bankers draft at the institution I work for (drawn on an account outside Canada) will be held for 30 days.
