I am going to submit my passport in my Country's Canadian Embassy. One question for my clear understanding,  should I stick the bar code (which contains my file number provided by VO in a small sticker paper) at the back page of my passport? Or only it should stick at the 'Appendix A' form.

Some body told me the file number (I mean the sticker paper) should be paste also the back cover page of the passport. One problem, the number of sticker paper is limited, only it covers for 'Appendix A' form.

So what is the right way, senior plz  guide me.

you can also got it scanned and then get print out , attach that to the back of passport , bar code will remain the same .

Why you need to do that? Did VO ask you about it?

Otherise Submit the passport in an enevelope mentioning your file no, your name, address etc. and purpose of submitting passport. Along with passport, you  also have to enclose a "passport request letter" sent to you by VO, and that letter contains all your details including file no.

hi
follow the instruction...it says "check that u have affixed the bar code lebel(s) on the back cover page of each passport"..
no need to do so at  'Appendix A' form. I think, there is one already affixed...
All the best

dear katoky,

nice to talk with you. it helped me lot. I found my instruction letter is different than yours. It is mainly a letter which refers they requested to submit my passport. In the number 4 there is no  information regarding bar code.

Yet I will follow your advice.

plz let me know your updates. Thanks.
