Are there available jobs for SBA with PMP and ITIL certification?  As per FSW the position falls under NOC 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management which is currently under priority occupation list.  Does that mean I am assured to get the same job that I have now? and at the earliest possible time after arrival in Canada?

Appreciate to receive comments so as to weigh my option to proceed...
Thanks  guys...

Getting a job depends much more on individuals. Its all about preparation and your background(how much your university is recognized, your work experience, your language skills, your ability to impress interviewer).
There are no garuntee for jobs.

Secondly 1122 category had its capacity reached long time back.
You can wait till the lists update or apply on arranged employment option

Thanks Nano for your comment.

Actually i have over 20 years of experience (18 years IT (supervisory/management)) and remaining years as Consultant and SBA in a gov't entity in UAE. I am preparing my dissertation for my MSc degree from Univ of Wales aside from the certifications I had.

Are these not enough to find the same job as I have now?

Also our agent didn't inform us that NOC 1122 is already filled up infact they are encouraging us to apply for this reason.

appreciate to receive more feedback from this forum.

You should fire your agent. The cap for NOC 1122 was reached some time ago. If you applied now, your application would be returned.

1.) As everyone informed you cap for 1122 has reached, there is no room for you to apply before Jul'11. Also check back again in Jun'10 if there are changes to immigration program (there will be most likely) and if 1122 is still in priority occupation list
2.) SBA may not Qualify under 1122, so please verify the job duties of 1122 against your experience in last 10 years
3.) Visit cic.gc.ca to be updated on canada immigration, you can check here if u qualify and are eligible and if there is room for application, and if yes it will help u in filing ur application and you do not need a consultant. It looks he is trying to cheat you
4.) Job is no Gaurantee. It depend on individual personality, education, experience, networking and luck.

You would need to do some homework to see if such jobs are available and if yes what are their expectations
You can look at some of the websites
sissystems
sapphire
monster
workopolis
brainhunter
sakjobs
indeed.ca

Your profile look impressive,  I found that unless job requiring these skills is not in you core domain then it is little tough to convince employers

Hi Ankit, and scylla,

thanks to your feedback. Just now I verified with our agent and they confirmed that NOC 1122 has been filled up but they are still encouraging us to proceed with our application before July 2011 so that when this re-opens (for the same NOC # or different as long as the job function is the same) we'll be among the early applicants.  Is this true?

Is it difficult to have an arranged employment?  I heard that it would take time before any canadian company hire outside of Canada as they have to prove that nobody can fulfill their requirements.

i've been searching and find a quite number of strategy jobs in Canada but are not sponsoring visas.

If NOC 1122 does not re-open what's my possibility or option to become an immigrant?

Thanks for all your input.

Your COnsultant is right that you should be early in filing your application when it reopens in July, but before that you need to make sure if your NOC code is in 29 occupation list or not.

Please visit cic.gc.ca to get more information. It will empower you to cross check if your consultant is providing you right information or not. If you are do it yourself kinf of person than you do not need a consultant at all

If your NOC code is not in the new list, if any released, before new cycle then you can not apply. Then only option is Arranged employment (AEO), which is very very tough to come by.
