I am single and have relatives in Canada. My employer said that he will have to appeal my case to the embassy because the decision made was too unreasonable. They could not just base one's intention of working and staying there by marital status and family ties.. No, I'm not from Manila...

Hello guys! i just received a mail from the embassy denying my application. The reason stated is that i have not satisfied that I would not leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for my stay. The factors considered were my family ties in Canada, limited employment prospects in my country of residence, and my personal assests and financial status. It is sad... But I'm not sure if I can still do anything to change their decision. I hope they could just have given me a second chance, talked to me through an interview or something.. Just to prove to them that I would leave Canada after the authorized period of stay. Still, if I am not for Canada, I would not force my self to be there. Hoping that you would get positive responses! God bless you all!
it is really depressing of receiving something negative.... me also got refused last sept and reapplied this month. anyways, you mean you have received the final decision in less than a month ang bilis naman... i received my refusal before for about 2mos. did you receive your aor how long did you receive? paswertihan nga daw minsan ang pagkuha ng visa at depende din kai sa officer na rereview ng application... are you currently employed? bakit pati ba naman personal assets and finances ginawang reason whewww!!! dont you worry you still have enough time to reapply kasi march 2012 pa exp ng lmo mo... mine kasi this coming dec. na. good luck sa next apps mo..

Hi lynnard! Sent it on october 25, received the reply last november 21. Super fast nga. Anyway, I am still employed right now, but I placed in my application that my contract with current employer will end this november. So maybe it affected their decision. It's better siguro if I didn't specify the end of my employment, kasi naman talaga, my present employer wants me to stay as long as I want.. Anyway, after my employer in Canada applies for an appeal, I will have to follow his instructions after.. It depends.. Hopefully, thid time it would be positive.

Three weeks ko after nareceive yung aor.. Parang marami ata ang cases na narefuse. Ano naman yung reason bakit ka narefuse sa first application?

My contract is only good for a year and no, my employer is not my relative.

Try again. You need your employer's support on this. Write a cover letter, addressing the officer's concerns; if you can do it point by point. Ask you employer to also write a letter in support of your application stating how important you will be in their plan of things. Hopefully s/he can justify hiring a foreign employer. My contract is only good for a year and no, my employer is not my relative.

para kasi overflowing ang applicants ngayon ng work visa kaya marami din ang narerefuse... anyways, the reason for my refusal was limited job opportunities in your home country and present employment situation... my employer and lawyer made an appeal and was explained in a cover letter... hope in 2nd time around visa naman wag na yung refusal letter kasi nakakalungkot magpapasko pa naman. ganun 3weeks after mo nareceive aor then just after a week refusal letter na agad parang di naman nareview ng mabuti ang application mo.. dont you worry matagal pa naman expiration ng lmo mo you can apply again...good luck!!!

Thank you job_seeker. I think my employer is going to do the job. He said he will file for an appeal in behalf of me. It's good also that I have his support on this.
