Hi all,

We have been asked to send all our passports for visa at the same time. It is not possible for me to follow this advice as one of my dependent is already in Canada as an international student. He can not send his passport to us to further send it to the embassy along with our passports.

Need advice, seniors please, what should I do? Can we send our passports separately? All replies are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Why can't your son send his passport to you? Can he not send it express and when received, you too can send all passports express mail.  I sent my passports via express mail and had to pay for a return envelope....the cost incurred is worth it.

The passport can not be delivered to us (out side of Canada) by courier companies in Canada (DHL,FedEx) saying that they can not deliver a passport from a person-to-person. They only accept a passport to be delivered to an embassy.

My question is can we send our passports separately to the Canadian embassy for visa? The IO has asked us to send all the passports in one go.

My advice is consult your local immigration lawyer if he know and pay some less fees or ask directly to Local CHC VO by email. I'm pretty sure that VO will reply your email ASAP.
