Dear Friends,

I got the passport request letter (email) today. The passport must reach Buffalo in next 30 days. I am wondering: did anyone of you send your passport from India to Buffalo.

I was working in USA when I sent my PR application to Buffalo, but recently I moved back to India. I am scared to send my passport out of the country (India). My passport is the only identity I have. Could you please share your thoughts on such experiences?

Thanks,
Frontenacs

someone will have to carry your passport to USA or Canada with a letter of authorization from you and then submit it  to the buffalo office. That is the only way you can do it.

Is it possible that I can send my passport to cic, New Delhi?

Alternatively, I may come to Canada and send my passport myself to Buffalo? I still have a valid work visa and permit. But, it will cost me dearly, financially as well as my job in India.

Thanks Kanamen.

I have already sent an email to CIC, Buffalo. Waiting for a reply.

Just to make sure - I sent the email to: re-buffalo-im-enquiry(AT)international(dot)gc(dot)ca

Is that right?
