Hi everyone,

Is anybody here with experience of sending passport to London VO. I am interested in timeline so I could plan stuff around it.
Please kindly comment only if you live in UK.

From what others have posted before, if you postyour passport to london it can take about 6 weeks to come back to you, were as if you go on a thursday between 2pm and 3pm you can drop off the passport at the london VO and then pick it back up again 2 weeks later. Depends on how quickly you want it returned to you.
Im sure someone can verify if this is all correct, Im pretty sure it is though.

Yeah I think they are taking about 6 weeks on postal applications.

And then I think it's two weeks if you take it in yourself and collect it.

Can we drop it personally and ask they send it by special delivery or we have to come back in person again?

if you drop it off, they give you a ticket to bring with you to collect it, i think drop off means you collect it yourself.
