So I answered the form online and just printed the application form and noticed that I did not 'un'highlight my forms. I printed in black and white so the blue parts appeared gray. Is this ok?

Yes, the disabled ones while filling ur forms while printed will be grayed ones.
Hope u have validated the form for the completeness and barcodes.
