I was reading through the Immigrants Guide, and it mentions the following:

"When your sponsor receives positive results from his sponsorship
assessment from the Case processing Centre in Mississauga (CPC-M), you
have one year to complete the forms and gather all the required
documents. The ideal is to send them as soon as possible to the
appropriate visa office.
If you do not send the application and required documents
within the timeframe mentioned above, your sponsorship will
be closed. Your sponsor will not be able to appeal to the
Immigration Appeal Division (IAD) if your sponsorship is
closed"

So does that mean that we could send the Sponsor Application first, then once it's approved send the rest of the application? Does it matter if we do that or send them together? I ask only because we have everything ready in the case of the Sponsorship Application, but it will be a few months before we get the rest of the application itself ready (medicals, etc).

I think that is for Inland apps guide. For outland u have to send all 3 parts to cpc-m who will approve part 1 i.e sponsor then send part 2 and 3 to vo, in ur case, buffalo..i maybe wrong but am pretty certain that is how it is done and i would include evrything to accelerate the processing time

Where did you read that one?

Hah! Apparently I was reading the wrong application guide that time. I just went to check it again ( we are applying outland ) and it says:

"You should complete the forms and return them as soon as possible to
your sponsor, along with all supporting documentation.
Note: Your sponsor cannot submit the sponsorship forms until he or she
receives your application"

Nevermind! Whoooops... Cool
