Hello,

Do you know if this would be the best way to go if I would like to continue working as a self-employed freelance performer (to be specific, mascot performer with NOC B - 5232 "other performers") in Canada? I'm currently on post-graduate work permit that will expire in May 2012 and I have 7 years of experience in this field mostly as a volunteer and 1.5 years of paid experience - all in Canada. I already have my regular clients that want to continue business with me. I have talked to my employers and none of them are willing to get LMO due to the casual nature of my work and it is almost impossible to work full time (only %19 in my field work full time!)

My intention is to get a PR and this is where I found out (Google fw01-eng.pdf - Page 50 under 5.30) about self-employed temporary resident that may help me continue my works until I receive my PR.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you!
