Hi.

I have a question on the self-assessment test in order to qualify as a federal skilled worker immigrant.

Within the test, under the adaptability section, the question asks you whether you have 1 year of Canadian work experience on a "full-time" basis to determine if you are eligible for the extra 5 points. The question statement does not asks whether I have "1 year full time of canadian work experience or the equivalent part time experience".

I do not have 1 year of "full time" Canadian work experience, but I have 4 years of "part time" Canadian work experience which is essentially equivalent to the 1 year of full time work experience in terms of number of hours worked.

Can I get the 5 points for having the part-time job experience? or I'm not eligible for the point just because my experience was not on a full-time base?

 thank you.
