Hi all it seems Alberta Removed almost all software professionals from AINP program Eligibility who applied after may 19th 2009. I just posted my application and later I saw this bad news. Anybody aware of this?
Go to http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/srsvisaholder.html and see the NOC list.
Thanks

What situation ? Did you mail it today ? If yes and if your NOC is not in the new list then I guess your application will be returned back. Same thing happened for folks in FSW stream and their applications were rejected because the updated list did not have their NOCs.

Yes I posted application today morning and later I observed this news. They will definitely reject/send back my application as NOC is not valid. But this is ridiculous that rule published date is the effective date.
Wish you all the best for the people who applied on or before yesterday(5/19/2009)

The following occupations are no longer in the list. If your occupation is one of those, you are not eligible for AINP SRS-H1-B and there is no use sending your application. But if you find your occupation in the list, you should apply as soon as you can.

2147: Computer Engineers (Except Software Engineers)
2171: Information Systems Analysts and Consultants
2172: Database Analysts and Data Administrators
2173: Software Engineers and Designers
2174: Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers
2175: Web Designers and Developers
2281: Computer and Network Operators
2283: Systems Testing Technicians
