Just wondering do they security checks before passport request or after? because I notice they request passport and hold for six months or maybe more why is that? I think they usually check everything before they do passport request, please comments. and your share.

After medical recieved by you local CHC , some CHC Security check done before medical too.
its depend on your local CHC.

they hold passport when the VO/CHC have some query regarding your travel or security. thats not big deal for us. just wait and relax.

has a friend he did almost month now but nothing yet..
