second time faster????

Hi....we applying the second time because the first time we got refused as our marriage was not legal,so we got a civil marriage done when my wife came down and we re-applied.would the second time be faster as background checks and other stuff were already done the first time??

I would doubt that it would be any faster. You will need to submit a new medical report and police report and they will still do a thorough background check. They certainly won't just be relying on previous information as time has passed since the initial reports so anything could have happened in the meantime. Those results are no longer valid.
