Has anyone recently gone through a re-medical in Mexico?  I am aware that the the medical for Mexico is now done on request by the embassy as opposed to being submitted with the initial application.  I would be interested to hear about any experiences with the current re-medical process, waiting times etc.

I cant answer your question, but I am curious as to where you got the info that medicals are now being requested instead of being sent in with the initial application, do you know if its the same for the police check? Thanks!

I just looked back and I can now only find reference to the medical submission on request in the parents, grandparents and other family members guide for Mexico - so I must have mistakenly pulled that one up instead of spouses.   As far as spouses go, it appears to be business as usual -- the medicals and police certs are to be submitted with the initial application.

I am still curious about re-medicals in Mexico though - anyone with recent experience?  Thanks.
