Hello everyone
I'm a live in caregiver
I apply for PR on january 2011
And according to my legal representative still we have no response from CIC (how can I know about my application status?)
He says I will need to get a second medical examination but for the articles I have been reading it seems that this is no longer a request to get the permanent residence.
Does anybody knows who's right? should we or shouldn't take the second medical examination as live in caregivers? And about how long does it take to the PR process?

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. Smiley

No second medical. CIC is slow. There are applicants who submitted in 2010 and have not received the OWP yet.

First stage approval: 13-14 months
