By checking the online status I saw that my status is changed to:received by Visa Office and "your application it's under pending review".
Is this so called the second AOR?.So far I don't have any AOR number.It's normal?

what do you mean you dont have any AOR, you check with your first AOR which CIC issued you, and e-case is RBVO then your VO received documents and they start looking into , you will get 2nd AOR or documents back if missing documents.

dont worry .. i had similar status ... my status said RBVO from dec 2010 but received 2nd aor in may 2011 ... i submitted my full docs in november 2010.. |

I was mentioning the I didn't get the second AOR(as I know that must be a new one, different from the firts AOR from Imimgration office in NS),if yes this suppose to be issued on the same time when the visa office changes the status to received by VO).

@ CIMI, not to all applicant that VO will issue when case is in RBVO, my case never been RBVO, I got 2nd AOR and I checked my status IN-Process, here in the forum some people got 2nd AOR after 1month of RBVO and even some get after 15days , some applicants get on 2nd day , it's depend on VO. anyway remember some people get same 1st AOR number as a 2nd AOR number , dosent matter if you get same number as 2nd AOR. just follow e-case status and if you need more information send email to VO or generate CAIPS note after some months if your case is not moving or no more update on your case. And when our docs are transferred to respective VO, they after receiving the docs isuue AOR and is it called 2nd AOR, and does it also come by email or snail mail??please clarify.
Secondly, when shall i be able to look formy e status, is it after i get some kind of refrence number ??

you can check e-case using 1st AOR, yes CIO and local CHC both send AOR using e-mail and even mail to your provided address. I got mail and mail to my address. AOR is the way to communicate with CHC and even usefull to get CAIPS note, there is no another reference number. what you get? what's your e-case status? OMM |

The normal sequence is 1st AOR (CIO; by e-mail)--> RBVO (your files moves to VO)--> 2nd AOR (normal mail)-->PCC/MR--> Passport&VIsa.
Keep in mind that time consumed at each activity greatly differs as per country/VO and it's also possible that some stage might be fully skipped e.g. 1st AOR to 2nd AOR and no RBVO in between...so this is all remains dynamic!

my 1st AOR was received within 2months after that i sent my complete documents on 2nd Feb. 2011 and now it says RBVO, pendig review My E-CAS status is Pending Review since 4months...but after seeing shuhash reply I feel safe, i assume it takes 5-7 months to receive the 2nd AOR and also depends on the VO since my VO is London and apparently London VO is taking application from all over Middle east, Subcontinent, and UK ofcource.. So I am too waiting for my 2nd AOR..   Regards, |

would you mind sharing the contents of these AOR's.Like when you receive 1st AOR (PER), usually what is written in that.
Did you receive 2nd AOR via email or postal mail.I have seen different remarks about it on this forum, few receive via email, few say it comes by post and few say that you receive it via email and afterwards it comes via post also. Please clarify.Thanks

This 2nd AOR is received by regular Postal Mail ,which states , ''This refers to ur appli....................received at this office.we created a
file # pasted above.Before ur appli.. can be placed in processing ,a further determination will be made as to whether r /not eligible. If ur application is nt eligible 4 processing ,u will receive a lettter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.
Processing time
Appli... ur category ,on average, require 12 months to process.
Interview
may be required.
Prepare yourself for immigration to canada
Your appli.... has just been received at visa office n some months will probably pass before you know the final decision on your appli.
