e-cas PR Application Status: NOT AVAILABLE

Dear Rahimi, I am not the best person to ask, because I have the same questions and uncertainties as you! It took 7 weeks for me to get AOR from Buffalo, which means only that they've just started to review my application. I included all the same documentation that you mentioned. And I too...

e-cas PR Application Status: NOT AVAILABLE

That's right. You put the SPONSOR'S information. Not the APPLICANT'S. If your wife is your sponsor, put the CLIENT ID # from her sponsorship letter, then HER last name, her date of birth, and her country of birth.

e-cas PR Application Status: NOT AVAILABLE

My husband's sponsorship was approved in Mississauga on Dec. 17, and today was the first day that I found "in progress" instead of "not available" on e-CAS. (I also got my AOR letter in the mail today.) So it took approximately 7 weeks to show up. (My application is being processed in Buffalo...

e-cas PR Application Status: NOT AVAILABLE

Thanks, Tamee. I haven't received my AOR yet, and I understand that in some instances they proceed without ever issuing it. I can reach the e-cas page for my husband. Under the column for Sponsorship Application it says "Decision Made" but under the column for "Permanent Resident Application...

e-cas PR Application Status: NOT AVAILABLE

Hi everyone, and thanks in advance for your kind help. My Canadian husband's sponsorship application was approved on Dec. 17, and my application for PR was forwarded to the Buffalo visa office at that time. As of today, Feb. 10 (a week short of 2 months later), e-cas still says under Permanent...

No AOR yet and FBI clearance will be one year old tomorrow

All right, I am preparing a letter (referencing my full name, DOB, Client # and KIT ID #). I will send this along with a copy of my spouse's sponsor approval letter from Mississauga. Is that all I need to include? (along with the Fingerprint card with the FBI stamp, of course.) Should the...

Thanks for all your great advice. My current police certificate is dated Dec. 3. Do you think I should order another one?

No AOR yet and FBI clearance will be one year old tomorrow

On the other hand.... :) --Tamee, thanks for all your help and patience-- The date of my new FBI clearance is Dec. 3. That means they need it in their hands by March 3? So maybe I should send it... I feel very lucky to be immigrating to a country where I speak one of its official languages. I...

No AOR yet and FBI clearance will be one year old tomorrow

You think it is OK to wait until they ask? Because, being from the states, I have a deep distrust of the competence of any government bureaucracy, and I can imagine this getting lost if I try to get it to them before they ask. Is it possible that they would send back my entire application...

No AOR yet and FBI clearance will be one year old tomorrow

Hi everyone-- My spouse received his sponsorship approval letter from Mississauga on 17 Dec, notifying us that the package had been forwarded to Buffalo. I have not yet received my AOR, 6 weeks later, though I understand that sometimes on spousal applications they do not bother with an AOR...

Sponsorship of Spouse -- "Outside Canada" vs. "Inside Canada"

I am a US citizen, recently married to a Canadian citizen. Although I still have an address in the US, I am spending nearly all my time with my husband in Canada. Throughout our courtship and since our marriage, I have been the one to travel to Canada to be with him, rather than vice versa...
