@BillHyatt Finally got my PPR today after 171 days (no ADRs, calls etc). The best advice i got on this forum was yours and I thank you deeply for that.

    So discouraged :(

Show evidence that you've tried to get a PCC that covers the entire duration but could not (e.g. an email to the govt and if they replied saying they can only issue one such as this). That gives CIC the requisite cover to accept this PCC as is. This is not unusual - some countries don't even...

I think it would help if you clarify these to the CIC Job duties matching NOC: Self declaration helps but if you can get an affidavit from a colleague or two or/and a client that also attests to those job duties (attach their business cards), it would allow them to verify and be a big help...

No issue at all. Hours/week only need to meet the minimum threshold. Both 40 and 42.5 are above it. Nothing to worry.

It's ok not to put it in 10 year history but you should explain this issue clearly in the LOE.

@BillHyatt I saw your post in another thread. You appear to believe that the IP2 movements today are genuine. How can so many people move to IP2 so quickly? Thanks

Forum for US H1b to Canada PR discussion

I think you've made some good points. A better political environment is definitely a strong consideration given the way the world is evolving now. As for taxes, don't forget the US is one of the most onerous one on taxes. You are taxed even if you do not stay a day in the US once you have a...

My Express Entry application has been cancelled :(

Medicals are valid for 1 year. If there are still 6 months left, you can send them the same medical info sheet. If less, then it may be better to take medical exams again and use the new info sheet the doc gives you. I say 6 months because the PR processing takes 6 months on average.

Send the latest as available. If job status has changed then let them know. PR is not contingent on continued employment. Your work ex however should be sufficient to maintain the CRS points.

Practice don't preach. Call centers exist to take calls. If people are curious they have every right to ask. If the system is rudimentary enough that it penalises harmless queries then its a problem with the system. Emails, Calls, GCMS etc all exist as means of getting visibility about the...

Since this has happened in IP2, the VO may be having doubts about your employment record/continuity and wants to double check. Bank statements cross checked against Payslips would help settle that. Don't think much of it, just send.
