FSW CRS cut-off will remain high for the foreseeable future due to the overwhelming demand from PR applicants. Covid-19 also threw a spanner in the works, screwed everything up for most (if not all) people.

Best to pause/lower immigration targets for now in view of the massive recession going on in Canada right now. Let the economy find a new equilibrium (at least 1 year) before resuming PR approvals. This is beneficial to all.

I believe regular draws for FSW will resume soon...there are only so many CEC rounds IRCC can do. But for a start at least, I think scores for the initial FSW rounds may be higher than normal, but should gradually trend downwards.

Sad. It's just unfortunate that the effects of Trump's latest action will inevitably drive the CRS higher. More competition coming onstream. Not to discourage but a sober reality to all aspirants out there. Best of luck, everyone!
