Hi, Can you please tell me how to start applying for LMIA? I am trying to hire a nanny from other country and I've already read about LMIA but because there's too much information to digest, I am totally confused as to which one should do first. -posting in job bank of paying for lmia fees etc...

Hello everyone: it's been a while since my last post in this thread! And im back to share my timeline : Our apps was resent last july 10, 2010 it was approved aug 2 AOR, PPR received and additional docs requested :aug 13 PPR+additional docs sent : Sept 17 visa received via dhl : Oct 22 visa...

I can't do anything but to wait. :'( Why don't they just process the application and ask me to send them the medical copy of my husband (the green form)..pfft Hate the officer who checked our apps >:(

I tried many times with no success at all so I called CIC again and asked...they said the whole application was sent back to me and I shall receive it today or some time next week.:) Maybe I could join July threads then.. :p

what additional documents did they ask you to send them? wow! 4-months is soo long :(

if they asked for addtional documents, how long will it take again for the next result?

But the medical office didn't give us a receipt, only a photocopy of a letter stating that my husband was checked in that office. urrrghhh. crap. yeah, they should have called me. :'( One more thing: Are they gonna send the whole application to me or just a letter requesting for additionals?

I asked my mom about the original copy issue of the medical and she told me that the one responsible in sending the original copy of the medical is the doctor who checked my husband. She also added that maybe the original receipt of the medical is what CIC were looking for. One more thing: Are...

me too, they recieved my app on the 27th of May and up to now I can't log onto ecas. This waiting period makes me really insane :'(. I hope we will all receive a good news next week... tan ta na nan :D
