I think you have one year to request the police certificate from your local embassy, but once you do get it then it's 3 months.

Guys I think something is being going on at Islamabad Office. I think something serious must have happened that caused additional delays. Afghan applications are being sent to New Delhi and London. I don't think its due to high number of applications only. It could be something else.

Applied in July 2012---Application approved on Oct 2012. Re-med asked to be done in January 2014. No passport request yet.

Yeah she came with Pakistan visa, but now her Visa is expired and she has to get another one. Which means she has to travel back to Kabul to get and there is no one at the moment who can take her to Kabul. But I think when CIC asks for police check she will have to get Pakistani visa otherwise...

Hi bro, Yeah I sent them an email right away when she moved to Islamabad. I got reply back from them that address was changed. I'm concerned about police check as well as its not easy/cheap to get it from there. Also when they will ask for Passport, will she have to have 3+ month Pakistani visa?

Thanks for the answer bro. Yeah I did submit PCC when I submitted my application along with med exam. I didnt know that CIC might not ask for another PCC. I filled application on July 2012 and it was approved on Oct 2012.Then med request on Dec 31th 2013.
