I think they keep the passport and that’s why on applications it’s written( I have made copy of passport and will not ask for it in future )but let’s wait for someone who happkied from Vancouver.

There is no limit but if hall capacity exceed then they don’t accommodate who are last in line. ( they ask guest to from line before calling applicants for oath)

Well they are good but sometime questions are tricky so applicants have to use common sense.

Plz update note in spread sheet so others can get idea. FP on e case Jan 15, letter from st Clair Jan 18, FP done Jan 18, RCMP sent to cic Jan 19(confirmed on phone no response to update email) DM feb 15.

Usually cic take 3-4 weeks after receving FP. In my case FP reach Jan 19 and DM on feb 15.

I think parents needs to be citizens first and that’s why you will see in process until you take oath. You will get citizenship certificate in mail for your son and you are welcome to take him to ceremony although it’s not required.

Hey got oath invite today in case. Letter sent on March 20 and oath is on April 6. Admin plz update spread sheet

Usually 3-4 weeks after FP recived by CIC. Mine reached st Clair on Jan 19 and DM feb 15. You can refer spread sheet to get better idea.

There is oath Ceremony on March 24 so let’s see if we get lucky.

Most probably it will be Vancouver. RCMP will send the report to cic office directly
