We moved to Canada 18 months ago . Loving every min of it . My daughter husband and 3 children would like to move here now . Any information on process etc would be grateful . This forum was amazing with advice when we were submitting our application etc .

Hi Trevor n Jo,hope the process goes well for you, we have received our PR through FSW2 and are due to fly in 4 weeks. :D. Goodluck it can be a roller coaster ride at times stay patient and go with the ride .

Flossiebebe ,thanks for the reply the dog is to big to be travelling with us on plane he will have to be checked in.,we have all paperwork ready and he will get his fit to fly cert a few days before we depart from the UK,im happy we dont have to travel to pick him up thankx for the info . :)

When moving to Toronto with PR, do you request to your doctor in uk for your medical files to take with you, or is that done by a doctor/gp in Canada once you register with one. Thanks.

When we move should we request our medical files or does that happen once we get a doc in Toronto and they request them.

Hi we are due to land in Toronto in July with our 17 year old son who has obtained his full driving licence in UK , he obtained it in April. Will he be able to exchange it for a Canadian driving licence, any help please.
