Few people on other forums are saying the acceptance letters are coming through.... anyone got theirs yet?

I'm assuming that if you have your letter for the IEC, and enough funds to buy one in the future, you don't need to have a return ticket right.

Do the MyCic application submission is the one that takes the longest amount of time it seems then right?

Yeah, i had my payment verified today and since i meet the criteria. I hope ill get my acceptance confirmation for the IEC soon and i can just submit all my documents for the MyCic. Do you know what they check for in the MyCic? If i got admitted into Canada 3 weeks ago, there is no reason why...

Ahh that's awesome, it was the only thing i thought i might stumble a problem with. Since i meet the criteria, hopefully i should have no problems being accepted :D

Quick question, Does anyone know the effect on the IEC assessment would be when i am currently unemployed. Last month i lost my job because of budget cuts. So am currently unemployed, would they frown on this for my assessment or do i have nothing to be worried about? Many Thanks

So in theory, in about 8 weeks i should get my "letter of introduction" and then i can start my travels from there right? In 7 weeks, i'm meant to be seeing Green Day in New York, so hope because of the quota breaks, they can process the first batch quicker :D

I'm not, i just set up mycic ready. I'm at the same stage as you i think. I just set up mykompass account, submitted my application. It said a notice of receipt would be sent to my messages. My application is locked, yet i haven't got message? Anyone have the same problem?

So it looks like the one in my opening post then? It's just a vague guideline. Is it me or is it impossible to have a picture of your head and shoulders, keeping your face size at 3mm whilst keeping the file over 60kb?
