You should be able to travel to US on the Visa visa which you've. I assume you've a US visa.

Getting visa stamped. Once youv'e the visa, you've to enter US very soon. It varies but in my case it was 3 months. Also at time of interview they do go through all the stamps. I just didn't want to take risk

I am in the same boat where we've scheduled a big event on the day of Oath ceremony but I'll give preference to the ceremony because this thing is important. Will just eat-up the financial loss
