hi you can apply for PR while your daugther is in TRV inside Canada. Same situation I have. We came with my daugther on TRV and right a way after landing we apply for her PR. And right now her passport was sent to ottawa for visa stamping. Processing time for Us is 5 months. Application package...

I got mine as well last week sponsoring my child who is born outside canada and on visitor visa with us here in Canada. Only applicant should be written on the form. In my case only my daughter was declared on applicant form.
