I was wondering if anyone knows the normal time for the visa to be issued after the passport has been requested. I have looked around and it seems there is quite a range from a couple weeks to several months. I would think if they have requested your passport, they must be almost done processing...

Hi, HK office requested for my passport the other day but they didn't ask me to redo medical. It's less than 2 month before my medical expires. (sep 1) I wonder if you have similar experience that the visa offices give you very little time left that you must land. Any information is appreciated.

Yesterday we received an email from HK visa office said they received our PR application on 10/29 which is an AOR2. :D

Sponsorship approval email received! Yeehaw!

You don't need any proof of job or income to sponsor your spouse. Can you afford to live in Canada without a job? If so, you could apply outland and then move to Canada as outland applications process much quicker.

Maybe some letters from family members stating something about them being eager for your return to your country?
