some people I know who submitted their applications by May, June, July and August 2009 got their medicals in the last 2~3 weeks, I knew about 4~6 people who receive their medicals in that period of time.. that's mainly my source..

I heard some news lately regarding the new Federal Procedures in Cairo, Egypt. it takes around 7~9 months for the medicals, as medicals mainly is the last thing before the visa stamping.. so guys have patience, we used to wait 2 and half years, you guys are lucky these days as it won't take...

Congrats Tony that really relieved me as i'm following up after 12 days from today :)

I can say around another 60 days from the date the Medicals Sent..

Finally it showed on the E-Cas "Decision Made" We Started Processing your Application Medicals has been Received Our Office will contact you for the Decision Made pfff Finally after 15 months of waiting, thanks God really :)

thanks Guys today happened something really strange, I received the Passport and Documents are ready to be picked up yesterday which was Wednesday, so here in Egypt you receive documents only whatever it is on Thursdays, so went today to pick everything up, they mentioned it ain't ready for...

Thanks masem, and regarding your questions.. - Do they ask for a new police certificate with the passport - Medical - Landing fee ? for my case, they didn't ask for a new PCC with passport or medical, Egyptian PCC and UAE PCC (used to work there for 2 years, they didn't ask for update as I left...

God be with you guys really.. I know it takes a lot of time but believe me it totally worth the waiting, the feeling itself is indescribable.. :)

yaaay, Just got the Visa Guyssss woooahh finally :) Should pick the Passport with the documents from the Embassy by Tomorrow :)

lol, yea I know, my Case also is Cairo, Egypt CHC not the Syrian CHC, Syria only when I did my Interview :), other than that everything is from Cairo.. and yea I think the main difference is the QSW and the FSW :) Good Luck guys..

Hi Reksa, Masem, and Hamdi, I believe that all the delays are from the Embassy Side, as far as I heard there a lot of traffic goin up there which causes the delay, suck that a lot of new applicants to process.. Regards..

thanks Guys @ Honolulu, they Requested the Passport through a Pre-Paid Courier Service, tried to deliver it myself but they refused so used a pre-paid courier service
