That is the logical advice, but police checks expire after 2 months, what if i dont hear back from CIC well before then? I really dont want to have to get FBI checks a third time.

Were about to send in our application then i noticed something. For our pictures my wife glued them to white paper with an explination beside each pic, a total of 30 pics. In the guide it says pics must be loose and not in a folder binder ect. Think it will be a problem if they are glued neatly...

I agree that there are some painful circumstances such as you described, but who knows how common that is. If congical relationships are the same as marriages then why get married? Marriage nowdays is still the strongest way to legally prove a comittment, espically when outside of Canada.
