Can you defer your course for health reasons from Jan intake to September intake, do you need visa again? Will the college allow you to do that? Will they take 1st semester fee? Help friends

Hi friends, one of my friend misplaced his documents which were sent with his passport by CHC. Does he need them? He is very worried now. What happens at the port of entry will they ask those documents? Please help. I think I need to keep mine in the locker:) poor fellow he was moving house.
