    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

Hey guys! I want to share my landing experience at CIC Etobicoke on last Thursday! We arrive at the office shortly after 7:45am and we were the first couple for landing there. That's why the Immigration officer invited us to the counter to verify our documents ahead of everybody else. I even...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

Hi CEC, Yes, we requested the last FOSS notes by email. You can also submit your FOSS completed forms via an email (atip-aiprp@cic.gc.ca - according to Immipedia, and we used this address too). The manager was right, don't order the full version of your file - "in-Canada file", because this...

Hi CEC, I would like to confirm that you can order your FOSS notes by email. My husband used this method to order the last notes on August. ATIP can also reply you back by email if the volume of final document doesn't exceed 50 pages. The most interesting thing is that after getting PR my Foss...

It looks strange for me, why you have got the landing letter from Vegreville. I have never read about similar cases before. Like Mohammed, I got my landing letter from local office (Etobicoke), not from Vegreville. Usually CIC sent several letters informing you about Approval in Principle...

You are welcome Angtao! While it is possible to stay in Canada on "implied status" it is a good idea to extend your visitor record to avoid trouble landing in the future. We would choose to pay $75 more just to be sure the landing goes smoothly. But you are right, it is better to call CIC if...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2010

My letters have been created on August 3rd, 2011, but they were sent by Vegreville two days later, on August 5th, 2011. It means CIC does not always send letters the same day when they were generated. I think you will receive your letters very soon, at least by the end of this week.

@murphy: Local CIC will make you a call to inform about the landing interview date. Just make sure that your phone is working outside of the native town. It totally depends on your office and CIC agent informed us that it may take more that 1 month. Just relax and enjoy your vacation :)...
