My husband sent his application last Feb 13 and CIc received it Feb 15. OWP issued June 4,2012.

The ROE is for you to keep when you'll apply for the open work permit ad PR applications. Click this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp just follow the document checklist and fill up the form. you're good to go!

WP and OWP are two different applications but the same form. The Mar. 4, 2012 is for work permit(WP) only.

Got my OWP...2011 applicant but not on implied stat...i dont know what's their rationale...been thinking maybe LiCs whos taking care of the elderly...but then again some of my friends are taking care of kids....so i dont know anymore...they're not on implied stat as well....im out of ideas whats...

I dont know what to say to the 2010 applicants to console your heartbreaking waiting time...even if i'll say the 2011 applicants who received their OWP is not approved in principle yet...still its UNFAIR to those who waited for a long time in whichever angle.Even if the PR will come shortly...
