    One of my family members did his oath at the Mississauga office today. He had to sign a brand new form(according to the staff) prior to taking the oath on which you basically had to agree with the provisions of the new citizenship laws which came into the effect this week.

    CIC most probably considers boarding passes more credible as evidence of travel than a ticket. A ticket only shows that you bought a ticket but a boarding pass shows that you actually checked in for the flight. It is better that the BP is airline printed over a one that you printed at home.

    When I applied for citizenship you only had to submit copies of your PR card and The record of landing (IMM 1000) or COPR (IMM 5292/5688). Didn't have to submit any other documents such as statements and bank records. (But the RQ was a whole another story.

    RQ after the test. The quoted average RQ processing time was 36 months at that time, 2012 December. But I got the oath letter in 27 months. The parking rate at Mississauga location is $1.75 per 30 minutes with a $9 daily maximum, I think.
