Dear All

The questions # 10 in "Schedule 3: Economic Classes - Federal Skilled Workers" asks us to fill in the figure for the funds we have in Canadian dollars.

I wasn't aware that we need to declare the funds at the application stage.

Can this funds be in any currency, like AED or INR? Does he have to be cash money only?

Can someone help please?

Thanks

As per CIC standards you need to have funds available at your disposable for atleast 1 year when you arrive in Canada. You can find the table in CIC site.

For example if you are 4 members in a family you will need minimum 20600 CAD to show.

I would advice you to quote a fugure that you can prove at any stage during your app process.

There is no maximum limit to carry to Canada.

Yes It should be in Canadian Dollars, thats the whole idea innit?

You only need to declare minimum amount for the size of your family in Canadian dollars if that's all you have.

What number should I write if I'm a FSW - 2, that is with Job Offer? According to the application manual I don't need to prove this, but it's OK if I leave it blank or zero?

If you are applying under FSW2 you do not need to prove funds, so you IMO either write zero or write "N/A" for not applicable. NEVER leave any fields blank on your application form.
