Schedule 1 - Background/declaration... Pls help

Dear Members,

I am filling Schedule 1 Background/declaration form and i am stuck in 11 - personal history.
It says provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18.
The issue is i used to take classes in the morning and then used to work from the afternoon (full time).
Now how am i suppose to show this?
If i provide the details of both studying and working for the same period, in the different fields then i wont be having enough space to mention the all activities. Besides that can i show work and study for the same period? Though i have all documents to prove that i used to take classes in the morning and my working hours are mentioned in the employment contract (starts from afternoon till midnight).

u can have several jobs. if you are mentioning several document from diff company/org, you have to provide all document and evidence. it will be time consuming for you. also, if any mistake or incompleteness document submitted, they car returned your file. better to prepare small file so that no tension about inquiry or further background check. it will save time to cic while checking your file and making inquiry. which ultimately reduces your waiting time and chances of failure. but make sure sufficient hours has been mentioned in your contract paper or not so as to meet the eligibility.

What is the main activity of your life in that period is it an education or a work?
I mean if you are mainly a student at that time and working to support your self, family,..etc put only your study. If that is the case you can use this work as an experience of part time job if it is in the same field of your career now. the opposit is true also, you are a worker and study as a part time student to develop and upgrade your career so you have to put your job as your main activity then use your studies as an education you gain as part time student.
The problem here in Canada is that you can not be a full time student and full time worker in the same time because full time mean all the day long from morning to evening or late afternoon.

Thanks for your reply. But i am still confused because even if i show my studies as full time (because otherwise i wont get enough points) and work exp as a part time then still i dont have enough space in the form to mention them all... am i suppose to attach another sheet for this purpose?

yes definitely use another sheet. what you should do is put in all details in an excel format based on the same kind of format in the form.

do write your full name and form`s title on the top of each extra sheet you use.

By all means, use extra sheets!!!!   I did, for almost every item on the Sched 1...

Show each activity on a separate line.  You can have overlapping dates and activities.  It is NO PROBLEM to show study activity and work activity during the same time periods, but they should be separate line items.
