Hi All,

I know that this topic had been discussed in different threads. I did take a look, however i have different questions to get your valuable input.

> I am in US, and an Indian national, applied for Skilled worker immigration through a lawyer.
> I was a resident (on Job between 1994 and 1997) in Saudi. I have the visa copies.
> The immigration officer have requested for PCC from Saudi.

I am looking at 2 options and want to know your advise:
1) How can I get a PCC via a friend of mine who is in Saudi? I know there are ways and proper steps from the ottawa saudi website, but they dont have options from the US website. I dont know where to get those specific steps for US - especially on where to get things done from US.
2) Can I go with an Umrah visa to Saudi and get it in person? Will they issue for Non-Residents? I dont have the employment permit any more to saudi. All I have is the copy of visas.

Please, please advise. My lawyer dont have any other tips other than a letter they can provide to be send to saudi consulate.

First, look at the CIC instructions on how to obtain a PCC from the KSA.

There you will see that if you are not currently living in KSA, you must apply to the embassy where you live.

So so go to the website of the Embassy of KSA for the USA.

Under consular services, document certification, you will find the instructions on how to apply for a PCC.

Hi Jes, Thanks for your reply. I have seen both cic's page and saudi embassy's page earlier when I began this research. I know that there is a free service with no guarantee from Saudi embassy, which takes about 5 months time. I am looking for better options. I am looking for either of the options as I had mentioned earlier. I want to know what should I do from US to get Option 1 working, or can I go for Option 2? I just need clarifications for these, which unfortunately, I cannot get via Saudi embassy website or the CIC website. Please advise if you have any information on this.

I tired to get the quote for my spouse PCC from KSA, however it was too costly: they quoted Rs.30,000 (INR) = approx $680 USD and timeline is 30 days.
