Dear Nimmi.. In the check list , section 4 states that " if yor live in a country different from your nationality, include a copy of your visa " But u dont need to worry because in visa your proffession is written in arabic. which u r not gonna translate. so dont worry. and i agree with wilson. bank statement plays a very important role in immigration process. so maintain bank account on your name f you are the main applicant.
dear i send them exit re-entry visa copy because this is a proof that you have residence of this country.they want only that proof. for job occupation they want letter from company where you work. i hope you solve that problem abrar

Dear Daniel,
I take it you are trying to get PCC from US i.e. FBI, Im also in KSA & here is what I did
1. went to FBI site, downloaded the finger print forms 2. Filled out the form 3. I used three cards for finger printing and i attached all with my finger prints, as i did not know which ones would work. 4. I sent all the docs to the mentioned address (FedEx) 5. 3 weeks exactly, they sent me my records and the extra finger print cards those they did not need
hope this will help you,
regards,
dear sir, i can not understand that why give fingerprint to FBI.visa office did not want visa office want only where we live more then 06 months. if we send FBI fingerprint result then they will not ask saudi pcc. abrar

Hi,
The purpose of the attestation is to ensure that you are submitting something authentic. If you are submitting an original employment certificate ( not photocopy) on company's letter head with their seal, there is no need to attest it. If sending a photocopy, it is better to send certified copies only ( by notary or who ever authorised), so that there will not be any further querry about it. To my understanding, not seen any discussion to send certificate attested by Chamber of Commerce. In fact there is nothing wrong if you do so, except some additional expence. ( sir wilson do have to submit a translated copy of my IQAMA/ residence permit, I am currently working in saudi arabia, one more thing is that in the translated to english document, my job is general nurse ( technician medical laboratory) but in my certificate of emplyment is Medical Laboratory technologist which is my current jon tittle, do I have to attach a affidavit of explanation to Iqama translation stating that my job is general nurse( technician Medical laboratory) which is saudi health specialist categorize foriegners like us though the job title is medical laboratory technologist? please help.

There is no need. It is a very common practice for expats in Saudi Arabia having incorrect professions in their iqama. And CIC knows this. They will not assess the eligibility of your application based on the profession written in your iqama. Iqama's are required for the VO to determine if indeed your application is eligible for process in the particular visa office you have written in your application. Regards. sir wilson do have to submit a translated copy of my IQAMA/ residence permit, I am currently working in saudi arabia, one more thing is that in the translated to english document, my job is general nurse ( technician medical laboratory) but in my certificate of emplyment is Medical Laboratory technologist which is my current jon tittle, do I have to attach a affidavit of explanation to Iqama translation stating that my job is general nurse( technician Medical laboratory) which is saudi health specialist categorize foriegners like us though the job title is medical laboratory technologist? please help

Dera wilson, aspire and other seniors,
When we talk about the visa copy that should be submitted to CIO / VO, which one of the following does CIC ask for:
1. the one that is stamped on our PP OR 2. the copy of that paper (visa) which is sent to our country after we are recruited and our our recruiting agent in our country uses that paper (visa) to get visa stamped on our PP.
Thanks

Our iqama especially when it is valid is both our residence permit and a document that CHC Knows that you have a valid visa in Saudi Arabia. I only sent iqama with English translation. The visa stamped in your passport when you first entered Saudi Arabia is an entry visa only. probably it is expired by now. Once you have entered Saudi Arabia, it is replaced by our iqama. Send valid iqama with English translation. It is enough. Regards. Dera wilson, aspire and other seniors, we talk about the visa copy that should be submitted to CIO / VO, which one of the following does CIC ask for:

@ aspire Then what would you say in my case, i sent my iqama copy / translation which shows expiry on 22nd july, did not attach any note saying that it gets renewed on yearly basis by the company and copmany renews it just a week before its expiry. Do you think that i need to send them a clarification about it, but don't have any reference number as yet so can't do that now. What would you suggest ?

No worries. They may later ask from you an updated copy of your iqama after its expiration. In my case I only submitted once. And it was 2 years ago. They never asked me an updated one. They usually ask an updated copy of Saudi police clearance after its expiration. If you can send one, then they will know that you are still in Saudi Arabia as KSA issues PCC to its current and legal residents only. Do not send them anything regarding this issue unless they ask. Anyone here who would know if SAMBA BAnk is issuing a Bank Draft. As we went to NCB and their services really sucks! they are not that helpful. After going in the line for 3 hours, they asked me to go to other branch on other days as it is closing time. What other banks is issuing bank draft as i do only have account in Samba and Riyadh Bank.

when i paid my application fee, i used SAMBA, but when time came for to pay for my RPRF, SAMBA is no longer issuing bank drafts for canada because they said there is a problem with their correspondent bank here (citibank). i used NCB instead, and that time (JAN '10), it's only NCB that's issuing bank drafts. if you don't have an acct with NCB, maybe you have friends who are acct holders with NCB. you can give them your money and they'll request the draft. that's what i did. hope this helps

Hi Guys
I am just new here on this forum and eager to apply under FSW category but unfortunately couldn't found me somewhere in current occupation list as am working in Saudi Arabia as HR Specialist and previously have worked more than 3 years as an Accountant and have possessed MBA degree in finance as well. Even heard over this forum that soon CIC will be announced new occupation list either in this month or next month. So, as u guys are seniors and have more experience on this forum than me, what you expect from them ? either HR, Accountant positions will be considered again ? or what changes you guys are expecting from them, just need to know your predictions.
