I have applied on 17th october (NOC code 0811). I understood from my bank that the DD is encashed in
November last year. But still there is no information from CIO.

I would like to write an letter to both CIO and London office. Can anyone help me with a sample?

I am writing to ask you the recent status of my application. I sent my full application to CIO on "put date here". Since then I haven't heard any thing from you. Now I have checked from my bank and they told me that my DD was encahsed on "put date here" .Would you please be kind enough in letting me know the current status of my application.

why would you write a letter when CIO has online enquiry from:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/csu.asp
Anyone who enquired online got their reply within 20 days.
By the way, your application is at CIO so sending a letter to London VO would be complete waste of time since CIO havnt transfer your file to London VO yet

Dr.Hasib, there is still a space on this form which says "your query" I think he needed stuff for that.

Dr.Hasib is right don't contact your local visa office at this stage. Only write to CIO.
