Im starting to gather my documents for my application. Ask ko lng kung anu ano ba ung mga docs na kelangan orig? Do the birth and marriage certificate be in original or photoCopy lng? Tapos ung TOR dw kelangan certified true copy, pde na ba sa notary public ipa certified true copy? Thanks in advance:) we'll be sending the applications on our own kc, we didn't get an agency, mahal kc:) hihi tnx

this is what I passed:

Regarding the birth / marriage - from NSO (737-1111 or pwede din online)  Wink
TOR - what we passed is the original. Sealed with the school envelop (naka indicate sa envelop yung school logo)

sa bagong requirements ng cic..ang na pass ko is..

original NSO..pati marriage certificate..sa amin kasi common law kaya orig na certificate of no marriage..
sa tor naman..certified true copy lang..ung diploma nd tor ipinaphotocopy ko tapos pina certify sa school..
sa certificate of employment and job description original sinend ko.. pro pina notarize ko parin para sure2x ang docs..
ang identification cards like prc, drivers license, tin card..pina notarize ko ang photocopy nun..
bank certificate original.. pero photocopy lang yung bank statement..since savings ang amin..di nagi issue ang bank ng statement of accounts..
ano pa ba??
barangay clearance original
pictures..gumawa ako ng scrapbook na mallit..para atleast organized ang dates ng pagkuha,..
ielts original ung sinend ko..

tanong ka lang kung may di ka sure..ok??

hello jpaige09... do download the APPLICATION GUIDELINE and, as one senior member wrote, "make it your bestfriend"... read, understand and take it to heart... try to provide everything as stated... i also applied on my own, without an agent... this is one of those times that my OC personality helped a lot...  Wink

if possible, PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS... that way no questions asked... i even sent them my original Certificate of Registration from PRC and original diplomas from my two courses... they will return everything to you naman when they are done... you have to keep in mind, you will not be there to defend your documents, so your documents MUST speak for themselves... yes to everything you can get from NSO... all these must be originals... so should your IELTS TRF (test result form), TOR, Certificates, Job Description, etc. etc....

if you must send a photocopy, make sure that the photocopy is certified BY THE ISSUING BODY OR INSTITUTION... especially when it pertains to your education, registration (if you are a registered professional) and employment... i only submitted a photocopy of my PRC ID (because i obviously need it to practice) but i had it certified by the PRC... that's written in their APPLICATION GUIDE as well... that only the issuing institution can certify the photocopy you are submitting... like your TOR, it is better to have it certified by your school registrar rather than have it notarized... and i suggest that instead of submitting a certified true copy, you request your school for a new TOR and have it placed in an official school envelope, sealed and stamped with the school seal... remember, a good number of points is awarded to your education, your papers must be beyond question...

i think the VO appreciates that you take the time out to prepare documents just for them... have patience, gathering documents take time... they must be authentic as much as possible... think of it as having just one shot at it, so give it your best one...  i read one applicant who was refused because he sent a NOTARIZED photocopy of his IELTS TRF... isipin mo yon, sayang di ba? you not only waste money but time as well...

photocopy of land titles and vehicles you own can just be notarized... that's what i did with mine and it went alright... i submitted bank statements as far as a year back... i even sent old passbooks of the account... just so the visa officer will see that it is indeed an authentic account... photocopy of bank statements must be certified as true by the bank manager and you must submit a certification reflecting your current balance together with the bank statements... do this part LAST... your bank certificate/s must not be more than a week or two old from the time you mail your application... that is just my opinion...

here's what I did. i bought a yellow sticker paper (not so sure about the name  Grin) 8 X 11, glossy sya na parang short bondpaper din pero you can peel it into 2, the yellow one has the adhesive. if ur familiar with the baygon fly catcher, parang ganon sya. Grin

i printed my name and address on it, arial font size 11, then cut the paper. don't peel it into 2 ha Cheesy Cheesy. i dont know para sa ano yn at require pa ng embassy. maybe they are using it sa files natin doon sa kanila.

Anyway, did you guys fill the documents by having it typewritten or u write manually?

if the forms have not been changed since february of last year, those forms can be filled using adobe... you just click the mouse on the box and fill the information out... it can't be saved though so if you make a mistake, you need to retype everything again...

i did the same thing mimi0713 did with my labels... i printed my name and address on a sticker paper and attached it using a paper clip on an ENVELOPE SIZE 10 (i think that's the regular mailing envelope)... they probably use it to label our documents in their filing system...

one more tip, if there is anything you cannot provide, do not hesitate to attach a letter explaining WHY your document is missing from your files...
